Brass silhouette figures with hair worn up, the second group in this series. The raised knot of hair gives each outline its character, since there is no facial detail to carry it.
Silhouettes need a plain background. Set the piece on a console or bookshelf at eye level against a pale wall; against pattern the outlines break up and the figures stop registering.
