A candlestick standing on paw feet, the animal detail worked at the base while the stem and cup above are left plain. The contrast between the figured foot and the simple column is the design.
The paws are only visible from the side, so set it where the base is not hidden — a dining table, a mantel or a console rather than behind other objects. Use singly or in a pair.
