Product Details
Filigrana Appuntita takes the filigrana cane technique and draws it into a pointed form. Fine glass threads run through the wall of the vase, stretching as the body narrows towards the top.
Barbablanca works this by hand in the Murano tradition, and the spacing of the threads shifts with the pull of the glass. The piece suits a shelf or console where the taper can be read against a plain background.
